Review:

This was my introduction to Noelle Adams, and it was an awesome introduction. I love finding new authors that I can add to my TBR list. This novel reads more like a novella. This book grabbed me by the fifth page and did not let go until the last page. This book is about “three girls that become friends because their brothers are best friends”. Emma and Noah are not the ideal couple, but can they over come the odds? You will have to read to find out. I liked that there is several sub-plots in this story line that I hope the author is going to explore in the next books in this series. I look forward to the next book and can’t wait. I recommend this fun, fast paced, entertaining read.

Fifteen years ago, three girls were thrown together because their brothers were best friends. Now they’re all grown up, and their brothers are grown up too. The Tea for Two series tells their stories. Fans of contemporary women’s fiction will become engrossed in this new series by New York Times Bestselling Author, Noelle Adams.

Description:

After too many bad decisions in romance, Emma is going on a man-fast. For the next six months, she’s fasting from men. No sex. No dating. No soulful gazes. No fond memories of her first crush. She’s going to spend the time focusing on her career, getting in touch with herself, and helping her two best friends with the launch of their new tea room. No men.

And that includes her brother’s best friend, Noah Hart, who has just returned to their hometown.

She doesn’t want Noah anyway. He might be even hotter than he was before, but he’s not a nice guy anymore. He’s made a fortune by acting ruthless in business, and the last thing he’s looking for is small-town domestic life. He doesn’t even want to be in town again, but a sick grandmother guilted him into it. Then he has nerve to not even recognize Emma when he sees her again. Maybe it’s been seven years, but a decent guy would remember his best friend’s little sister.

Noah is not a decent guy. Anyway, Emma is on a man-fast. And she doesn’t want Noah.

At all.

Excerpt:

She waited to see if Noah would complain about her walking home alone at night, but he didn’t. He just said, “I’ll walk with you.”

She started to object—automatically but for no particular reason—but she stopped the words from coming out. There was no reason he couldn’t walk a couple of blocks with her. He would probably insist on it, even if she tried to object.

“Okay,” she said. “Thanks.”

They didn’t speak as they walked down the sidewalk and crossed the street to her building. But she was intensely aware of Noah’s presence beside her. It felt so strong, so masculine, so… man.

Why the hell did she always seem to want him so much?

She should know better by now.

She was feeling strangely shy when they reached the front entrance to her building, and she turned to face him, dropping her eyes. “Thanks again.”

“No problem.” There was that husky note in his voice, the one she really liked.

She didn’t dare to look up at him. “I could have made it on my own, you know.”

“I know that.” God, just the sound of his voice sent shivers up and down her spine.

“No matter what you think, I’m not a little girl anymore.”

She had no idea why she was saying this. She was just rambling, too nervous to think through the words that were coming out of her mouth. And she was seriously having to hold herself back from reaching out toward him, taking hold his shirt and pulling him closer.

He smelled so incredibly good. Not anything as strong as aftershave, but something warm and expensive.

She wanted to smell him even more.

She wanted to feel him.

She wanted to taste him.

She wanted to…

He reached out and tilted up her face so she was looking at him. “I know you’re not a little girl, Emma.”

Emma.

He’d called her Emma.

“You do?” she whispered, the world shuddering in front of her eyes.

“Damn it, Emma,” he rasped thickly, raising his other arm so he was holding her face in both hands. “Surely you know I’m seeing you as anything but a little girl.”

She was trembling now, and there was absolutely no way she could hold herself back. He was holding her face like she was precious, and the look in his eyes…

So filled with heat and hunger. She’d never seen anything like it.

She grabbed onto his shirt like she’d always wanted to and drew him even nearer, and then he was finally, finally kissing her.

Naturally, she was kissing him back.

You will have to read to find out. I will say this book is well written and the characters are well developed, relatable and believable. This is the first book in the series and it is on fire. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I Highly Recommend this book.

The princess of kink is back!

From his international empire to his high-rise sex club that caters to the rich and kinky, Damian Collins has it all. Or, at least he thinks he has it all until a certain feisty redhead refuses his offer to work for him. Problem… Damian got where he is today by going after what he wants.

Lydia Simmons has her goals lined out and a brighter future on the horizon. For years she’s fought to build her reputation in the kinky, BDSM world and make a place for herself. Her plan is in jeopardy when a rich playboy thinks he has a right to steer her destiny in his direction. To make it worse, Damian researched Lydia and discovered her weaknesses. After Lydia loses a bet to the megalomaniac, she becomes Damian’s employee for one month at Club El Diablo and enters the forbidden world of the ultra-spoiled rich and egotistical.

Could Lydia be wrong in her assessment of the people who find a home in Damian’s club? Do they have their own problems and needs no matter that they’re born with silver spoons up their collective butts? She knows she’s not wrong about Damian—he’s wealthy, gorgeous, and dominating to the extreme and NOT booked into her life’s schedule. It doesn’t matter that he seems to know what makes her tick even when she thinks she’s very good at hiding her greatest desire.

Damian has secrets. Lydia has ambition. Can the two find middle ground and share their hearts? There’s only one way to find out but you must pay the price of admission, obtain your golden heart bracelet that proves you belong, and let your kinky side loose. Can you?

Damian is the original Club El Diablo book, One Dom At A Time, with more than 30k words added and major editing. It’s a whole new book!

Review:

This book was gifted to me by a friend. The author was new to me, but no longer as I enjoyed this story so much that I will definitely be reading her first series and then the next books to come out in this series.
Set in Medieval Scotland and Ireland, this is the story of Mangus MacAndrew and Catriona Butler. As Laird of Clan MacAndrew, Mangus wants nothing more than what is right and in the best interests of his Clan and his Country, especially after past regrettable actions when he sought revenge against the murderers of his father and brother. After those actions, he vowed to never allow emotions to cause him to act rashly in any situation. He had been doing an admirable job of it while running his ship building & sea merchant businesses for several years, but when another of his ships fails to return home after too many days away, he fears the worst. When his fears are realized, he feels his vow to remain in control slipping. He suspects a rival Italian sea merchant is to blame despite reports to the contrary.
In the midst of this, his sister’s best friend from Ireland, Catriona Butler, has received word that her brother and father have been taken prisoner in Ireland and payment is being demanded for the release of her brother. Catriona is torn between remaining at her safe haven with the MacAndrew Clan and going to save her brother.
The two events bring Mangus and Catriona together to face their enemies, as each tries to do what’s right by everyone but themselves. With so many obstacles it seems an impossibility that everything will work out, but thankfully, neither gives up.
I loved the heartfelt stories being told by the author and the many characters involved. I look forward to reading more of her books.

To Support a King ~ Book One
Plagued by atrocities he committed against innocent victims while pursuing his father’s killers, Laird Mangus MacAndrew pledged to defend and provide for his clan. His mission—garner support for the Bruce and avenge the deaths of his men.

The MacAndrew clan provides Catriona Butler something her Irish home could not, a safe haven. But when she receives a missive her brother is imprisoned and will be executed unless acceptable éraic can be obtained, she must return to her homeland.

Mangus agrees to take Catriona to Ireland and vows she will not become a distraction, but he longs to be near her. Catriona witnesses Mangus’s fierce anger and grows distrustful. After a life of suffering her father’s vicious temper, she is skeptical of anyone with a penchant for violence. She attempts to keep her distance, but her traitorous heart pulls her in Mangus’s direction.

With the fate of the kingdom on his shoulders, will Mangus reunite the men of The Turnberry Bond? Can he pursue vengeance against his enemies without taking more innocent lives? And can Catriona free her brother and grow to trust Mangus, staying true to her heart?

When I read the blurb for this book, I knew I picked a winner. My interest in the story was so good I read all night, okay two hours of sleep. Hey I just couldn’t put the book down. Reading about strong women who won’t change for anyone is my kind tale. What a roller coaster ride with great action, misunderstandings, secrets, and blackmail. Less not forget the murder and spicy romance. Fans will be very entertained with this historical romantic suspense and yes there is surprise at the end.

Review:

I have not read any other works by this author. Having said that I really felt lost for the first 1/2 of the book. Trying to go back and see if I missed something that would help explain some of the things in the story. Some of the storylines didn’t really make sense with no background information. So the first half of the book is why it’s getting a three while the last half of the book for anybody who keeps reading is probably more of a four however by the end of the book I was still not sure why there was fighting going on between the two families and they were trying to poison Mark. While this shows as book 1 it looks like there might be another series that came first??

Review:

This is the first book I have read by Ms Delaney and Winning Ace is a fabulous, fun read. I am not really into Sports Romance but this book is low on sports and more on romance. This book grabbed me by the end of the first chapter and then I could not put it down. When I turned the last page I felt lost, I wanted the book to go on. Cash is a sexy, hot tennis star and Tally is a curvaceous, new reporter, and Cash hates reporters. This would be a formula for a disaster but there was something about Tally that Cash couldn’t let go. She had gotten under his skin. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. There is a cliffhanger but with the way the author has written this book it makes sense. I highly recommend this fun, sexy, quick read.

When her closely guarded secret is revealed, Genevieve is forced into a decision: Stay silent and let others suffer or bravely confront her violent past and the man who hurt her.

In this fourth installment of the bestselling River Valley Series, author Tess Thompson explores themes of community, friendship and love.

About The Author:

Tess Thompson is a bestselling novelist of romantic suspense. She’s also a Zumba dancing queen, though the wearing of the crown is reserved for invitation-only appearances. Recently she’s participated in obstacle course races, the hardest of which was the Spartan Beast in Sun Peaks, British Columbia. It was an awful experience that will soon be included in a novel. There was running. And climbing a mountain. And obstacles, like walls and crawling under barbed wire. She is not the running or obstacle queen.

Like her characters in the River Valley Collection, Tess hails from a small town in southern Oregon, and will always feel like a small town girl, despite the fact she’s lived in Seattle for over twenty-five years. She loves music and dancing, books and bubble baths, cooking and wine, movies and snuggling. She cries at sappy commercials and thinks kissing in the rain should be done whenever possible. Although she tries to act like a lady, there may or may not have been a few times in the last several years when she’s gotten slightly carried away watching the Seattle Seahawks play, but that could also just be a nasty rumor.
She currently lives in a suburb of Seattle, Washington with her brand new husband, the hero of her own love story, and their Brady Bunch clan of two sons, two daughters and five cats, all of whom keep her too busy, often confused, but always amazed. Yes, that’s four kids, three of whom are teenagers, and five cats. Pray for her.

This is the first book by Saskia Walker I have had the opportunity to read and it will not be the last. Ms Walker has done a fabulous job with the story line and the characters, which are so believable and relatable. I truly enjoyed Rex and Carmen’s relationship. Even tho they were stepsiblings when they were younger, they no longer are and now they can explore the feelings they had so long ago. I recommend this touching, hot at times, slightly suspenseful with a little mystery, totally enjoyable read.

In the book discription “Beyond 50 Shades … Way Beyond!”… oh boy was that the truth, and not necessarily in a good way, depending on you kinks. I enjoyed 60% of this book and story line, but there were parts that I felt went a little over the edge and parts that droned on and on that drove me crazy. But if you like to read BDSM story lines that are really extreme this book is for you.

About The Author:

An adventuress and traveler, Simone is a sensual being who loves to read stories that excite her.  She takes exception to authors who promote their works as ‘dirty’, ‘filthy’, or ‘smutty’:  She believes that sex is wonderful in all of its incarnations, and doesn’t shy away from graphic descriptions of realistic sexual experiences, no matter how messy.  Her writing is mainly in the ‘literary realism’ style – i.e., it is wild (even outrageous) … but could really happen to you!  She values openness in relationships, and demonstrates this through her characters.

Prior to becoming an author, Simone was a nurse.  One of her pet peeves is reading erotica that gets simple anatomy wrong!  She is continually bewildered by women who haven’t explored their own bodies.  Another pet peeve is the mostly hung-up Victorian society prevalent in the U.S. and U.K., and she tries to do her part to change that by introducing people to new sexual and sensual experiences through her erotic writing.  The activities in Simone’s books are quite realistic, as she has participated in most of these in ‘real life’, as surreal as it may seem.

Simone is currently completing the Experiences series, which will run an estimated 1,000,000 words!  That is why she refers to it as an ‘epic’ romance, although each volume is intended to stand on its own, with a ‘happy for now’ ending.  Experiences combines literary style and philosophical discussion by the characters with graphic portrayal of sex in all of its kinks and fetishes.  You may not like all of the things Simone’s characters do … but neither do they.  Their exploration of new experiences will hopefully motivate some readers to explore their own sexuality to a greater extent.

Simone loves to hear from her readers, so feel free to contact her.   In fact, she hopes you will feel ‘free’ sexually and spiritually, as well.  Please follow her on social media and her blog.  On her website, you may interact directly with the main characters in her books, including asking them questions in order to understand their perspectives in more depth.

You can sign up to her mailing list to learn about new releases, and take advantage of promotions.  All readers on the mailing list will be sent an excerpt from each of her next novels, prior to publication.
